About Light on Track
Light on Track was founded by a mother and educator who discovered that learning became much easier when lessons were connected to her son’s interests.
What began as a simple set of alphabet activities inspired by his love of sea animals grew into a collection of educational resources designed to make learning more engaging, meaningful, and memorable.
The name Light on Track reflects a simple belief: we are all right on track—not behind, not ahead, but exactly where we need to be. Sometimes we just need the right tools to shine a light on areas where growth is possible.
Today, Light on Track creates books, printables, and other learning resources that help children build confidence while learning through what they already love.

Hi! I’m Yinaury S. – a mother, creator, and educator with a passion for building meaningful learning experiences for us all.
My Story
The Color the Alphabet series was inspired by my own experience teaching my 3-year-old son the alphabet. At first, he wasn’t very interested in learning the letters on their own, so I decided to connect each letter to something he already loved: sea animals. I designed posters that we could color together, pairing each letter with a different sea animal. Everyday, we’d explore a new letter, color the page and hang the finished artwork around our home.
Seeing how much this helped my son stay engaged, inspired me to create an activity book series with various themes for little learners with other specific interests. The collection includes themes like Sea Animals, Safari, The Farm, Outer Space and more.
Mission
The goal is for these activity books to help children build essential early learning skills through creativity, hands-on practice, and play that is directly connected to their individual interests.
